Our goal is to create a "virtual nursing village" where nurses can share strategies, tools, resources, and ideas in order to promote environmental health in their workplaces, homes, schools, and communities. The ultimate goal is to prevent environmental disease by increasing the numbers of nursing professionals who can recognize environmental etiologies and risk factors; promote health through risk reduction and control strategies; and empower individuals, families and communities through education, practice, research, policy and advocacy.
